Hanging out on Thanksgiving

We had a good Thanksgiving this year. My mom came over to cook the turkey for us and it was really good. Kim, Ben, Libby, and Teancum came over as well. It was really nice to hang out with good company. The kids had a ton of fun playing together, while the adults just hung out. Our belly were all full of yummy turkey and pie! It was overall a really great Thanksgiving!

Early Thanksgiving

We had an early Thanksgiving dinner this sunday. Our sister Jen and her husband Tony came into town for an early Thanksgiving. My brother Justin who is in the Navy also showed up this weekend as a total suprise... I was so excited to see him! We had a really good dinner and had a some time to catch up on a few things. The kids got to go down stairs and hang out with grandpa in his train room, which they all really enjoyed. It was a really good day!

11 Year Anniversary!

Yesterday (Nov. 22) Jason & I had our 11 year anniversary. WOW... that's a long time! We went to see the movie Twilight, it was really good. Then that night we just hung out at home as a family watched the Utah vs BYU game and made dinner. We ate a ton of food... 7 layer dip, crab legs, Italian chicken, stuffed potatoes, and had apple pie for desert. I'm still full!

Friday Fun!

This last friday I took the day off and we went to my sister Kim's house to hang out. My other sister Jen was in town. She colored and cut our hair for us, while the kids and the guys hung out. We all had a really good time. Thanks Jen for doing our hair for us!

Disney on Ice

Yesterday we had quite the busy day first was Nick's birthday party at Chucky Cheese then we went to Disney on Ice... Jay was so excited when he saw Mickey Mouse, Mini Mouse and all the different disney characters. It was the first time we had been to Disney on Ice. Jay kept saying "Look mom...look", "See", and "Where did Mickey Mouse Go?" I was totally amazed at how many different charaters he knew.

We went to our good friends Nick's birthday party at Chucky Cheese. It was so much fun playing all the different games. Jay really enjoyed "SOME" of the rides. When I say some I mean he really didn't like the monster truck... at first he was really excited to get into the monster truck. (Jay has really been into monster trucks lately and watches them with daddy on the tv and internet) Well the monster truck started moving up, down, and sideways. Jay practically jumped out of the monster truck in fear. When it came time to sing happy birthday Chucky Cheese came out to sing with all of us... again Jay didn't want anything to do with Chucky Cheese. Jay kept his distance and a very close eye on Chucky Cheese, making sure they didn't get too close. It was really funny to see. Other then that we had a real good time.

Good Coffee!!!

Every morning I have one cup a coffee to wake me up in the morning and every morning Jay ask me "Mom you drinking your coffee?" So now anytime he drinks something out of a coffee cup he says "Mom I'm drinking my coffee" it is too cute! So the other night we all had some hot chocolate before bed... Jay was saying funny things like "It's hot dad..It's hot, be careful" and "MMM...Thats good coffee"

Comfort Food

Jay & I decided to make brownies tonight after dinner. We both had kinda a emotional day...so I thought we should make us comfort food. Jay really wanted to help out... so why not let him stir the brownie mix for me. Jay really had a lot fun helping mommy out! After the brownies came out of the oven we topped the warm brownies with vanilla ice cream.... YUMMY!!!

Fun with Friends

This last weekend we had some friends from out of town (Mitch, Krischelle, Kass, Maddi) come to visit with us...they brought us some early christmas gifts. They made us a beautiful clock that had our last name on it and they year we were married. They got Jay some Transformers.... he was so excited!!! He loved playing with Kassi and Maddi...Jay woke up the next morning and wanted to know where his kass and maddi went. Our good friends Shane and Deb came over as well to hang out it was a really good time catching up... Miss you guys hope to see you again soon....Thanks again for the gifts!

Halloween 2008

We had a really good Halloween this year...

ROCK'N'KID

Jay really loves to play the drums on Rock Band...

We went to a friends house on Halloween night and everyone was playing Rock Band. Jay really had a lot of fun messing around on the drums. His costume really played a good part dressed as a little rocker, it was cute!

We just recently bought a new camera sense our other one was broken... so we decided to give the old one that was broke to Jay to use as a play camera... he now thinks he's a little photographer...everytime I take out my camera to take a picture he runs and grabs his camera too to take his own pictures. It is so cute he really gets into it too...
